Meet The Face Behind DoneRight Window Coverings
I’m Larry Miller, the proud owner of DoneRight Window Coverings. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
My wife Patti and I worked as account managers for several years for a window covering manufacturing firm. During this time, we learned the ropes, gained vast business experience, and saw an opportunity. As account managers, we gained valuable knowledge, and experience, and were able to apply the customer service that we believe in. As we traveled together throughout the Severn, Muskoka area, we realized that we could become dealers, and bring all of the experience that we had gained as account managers to the consumer.
With the goal of providing excellent customer service and offering our in-depth window covering knowledge to the consumer in the Severn area, we set up DoneRight Window Coverings four years ago. Since we started, a lot has changed. Initially, when Larry became an account manager, there were spring-loaded roller shades and little choice in colour and fabrics. Then horizontal metal blinds came along, followed by vertical blinds, which were all the rage. Now roller shades have become more and more popular with more choices of fabrics and colors. You can get huge cellular shades and wood, and faux wood, and a plethora of options are available.
In 2022, a big change came to the window covering industry for child safety, where cords and strings are no longer allowed for the lift system. Now there are cordless options for almost any window coverings for your home.
Why I’ve been successful
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my integrity and honesty. I am committed to quality at fair pricing. I attribute my success to my fantastic partner, our superior customer service, and consistent quality.
My motto is client service, client service, and client service! Serving my customers has given me immense satisfaction over the years.
During my downtime
I have a few different hobbies and interests when I am not at work. I most enjoy spending time with my family, playing hockey, golfing, downhill skiing, and reading.
